Hello all,We greatly apologize for the postponement of this past weekends March 8 show at the House of Blues in Cleveland OH. The show was actually SOLD OUT, and we were very excited to meet all of you in Cleveland. As you well know the weather was INSANE, and shortly after our sound check it was determined by the city to be just too dangerous to have so many folks in downtown Cleveland.WHAT A BUMMER !We are please to announce the show has been RESCHEDULED for Friday April 4 2008. All 3/8 tickets will be honored, and if neccesary ticket refunds for the 3/8 show are available at the House of Blues Ticket Office.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THE SOUNDS OF SEATTLE TOUR ANNOUNCES US TOUR PLANS
The Ultimate 1990’s tribute show to tour the US in 2008
PARSIPPANY, NJ January 10, 2008 - On That Note Entertainment announces the availability of a new 1990’s tribute show scheduled to tour the United States in 2008. The “Sounds of Seattle” Tour will hit the road in Spring of 2008 and offers are currently being solicited to bring the first of its kind show to concert venues throughout the US.
“Sounds of Seattle” will bring together three of the nations leading tribute acts that specialize in recreating the sights, the sounds and the all out teenage angst of the aptly titled “Grunge Era” of the early 1990’s. 3 acts: Ten - A Tribute to Pearl Jam, Nevermind – A Tribute to Nirvana, and Hungerstrike – A tribute to Temple of the Dog will perform nightly in this highly anticipate national show. The 3+ hour show will feature each act performing individual power sets of the greatest hits of their namesakes including mega-hits : Evenflow, Black, Jeremy (Pearl Jam), Smells Like Teen Spirit, Heart Shaped Box, Come As You Are (Nirvana), Hunger Strike, Say Hello to Heaven (Temple of the Dog)
The “Grunge Era” of the early 1990’s has become increasingly popular of late as an equally pivotal 2008 election year brings back the same youthful ire and angst so common during the days of the first Bush administration and the Gulf War. In anticipation of an audience largely made up of 18-30 year olds, the Sounds of Seattle Tour will team with Rock The Vote (http://www.rockthevote.com). Local volunteers will be available at each concert to assist young concert goers with information regarding registration to vote in the 2008 elections.

About Ten - A Tribute to Pearl Jam
Ten – A Tribute to Pearl Jam is a nationally acclaimed touring tribute specializing in the reproduction of the music and live performance of the legendary rock band Pearl Jam.
Ten has generated a tremendous buzz in eastern US markets from New York to Florida and all points in between for their authentic reproduction of a live Pearl Jam concert. "This is the most authentic tribute act I have ever seen, and I have seen a bunch" was the quote of a representative of Clear Channel Communications at the inaugural show in May of 2004. Since that night Ten has performed well over 150 shows and has firmly established themselves as the premier Pearl Jam Tribute act in the country.

About Nevermind - A Tribute to Nirvana
Nevermind – A Tribute to Nirvana has gained status as one of the most highly acclaimed Nirvana Tributes across the U.S. and beyond. The touring show has the sound, the feel, and THE LOOK of Nirvana complete with stage props reminiscent of those used on Nirvana's last tour ('93-'94). The band has over 70 Nirvana songs in their catalogue plus an acoustic show paying tribute to the entire MTV 1992 UNPLUGGED IN NEW YORK acoustic show!
The 2006-2007 Return Of The Grunge Tour has taken Nevermind to more than 15 US states including OHIO, INDIANA, ILLINOIS, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, NEW JERSEY, NORTH CAROLINA, TENNESSEE, WISCONSIN, IOWA, GEORGIA, NEW YORK, FLORIDA, TEXAS, CALIFORNIA and abroad into MEXICO!!!
Nevermind… a true International Tribute to Nirvana.

About Hungerstrike – A Tribute to Temple of the Dog
Hungerstrike – A Tribute to Temple of the Dog is the world’s first touring tribute to the mega-hit 90’s “grunge” rock album Temple of the Dog.
Temple of the Dog, released in 1991 provided the emotional outlet for soon to be rock legends Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, and other members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden following the death of their fellow grunge era legend Andrew Wood. The super-group spawned the two mega-hits: Hunger Strike and Say Hello to Heaven and created an album with a “cult like” audience. Despite the amazing popularity and success of the album, the songs were rarely performed live as each of the members went on to form their respective grunge era super-groups: Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.
Hungerstrike brings this classic album to life, and provides an entire era of deprived fans with an experience that they have been waiting for over a decade to see.

Pittsburgh Rock Scene Rallies to “Pay Back” Two of its Own.
Jim Sidney and Bonnie Patterson of Gourmet PA Systems have been in dedicated service to Pittsburgh area and national musicians, studios, nightclub owners, sound reinforcement companies, music stores, theaters, and much, much more for over 20 years. Anyone who has taken any part in the Pittsburgh music scene in the past 20 years, whether they know it or not, has used, owned, or heard or seen equipment Jim Sidney and Bonnie have repaired or maintained. From Heinz Hall, to Ogelbay Park… Benedum Center to the smallest, darkest rock clubs.…to countless local musicians, hobbyists and music stores.
Ask any of their loyal customers, and they will probably have a story about a time when they were unable to pay and Jim and Bonnie did their repairs anyway, knowing that if they didn’t have their gear they wouldn’t be able to make the money to get out of the situation. It was the kind of break many needed to get back on their feet. Or, they might have a story about the time that Jim and Bonnie went above and beyond, working through the night to complete an emergency repair that would save the day. Everyone who has worked with this dynamic couple knows that they have conducted their business and their lives with an unparalleled sense of fairness, diligence, and dedication to their customers and friends. They have saved countless performances, tours, and well, frankly, asses over their years by selflessly going the extra mile in their customers’ and friends’ times of greatest need… and now it is their time of need, and they who need the break.
On June 28, Bonnie was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic *** cancer. Due to her illness and the side effects of her chemotherapy, she has been unable to work. Jim has been trying to mind the critical things at the shop and to continue serving their customers, but his priority has, of course, shifted to supporting Bonnie in her recovery.
Since they are their own primary staff, this has put a heavy damper on their finances – a situation that is further compounded with a growing mountain of medical bills. They are in great need of financial help.
Join a host of Pittsburgh musicians and bands from the past and present as they rally together for an evening of fun and music to support two of their own at one of the area’s premier performance venues, Bridgeville’s Rhythm House Café:
You can also read more about Bonnie Patterson and donate directly to the cause here: http://www.friendsofbonnie.com/bonnie.html
Guitar World just published their Legends Collectors edition featuring Pearl Jam. It is an AWESOME retrospective on the Pearl Jam catalog with a ton of throwback photo's and articles from the 90's etc.... Way cool even if you aren't a musician. It hit the newsstands this week.
For those who haven't seen the mag :

The publishers at Guitar World stumbled across our site and gave us a call. They had some very complementary things to say about our own Dave Lewetag (mccready) and invited us to participate in the mag. Dave is featured in an ad for TEN on page 25, along with a few words about our good friends at wishlistfoundation.org
special thanks to our new friends at Guitar World and as always www.wishlistfoundation.org
