Ten is returning to The Big Apple - Manhattan Boat Cruise - April 28th !

Hi all,

We will be returning to New York City on Saturday April 28th, 2007. This time we will be having a big old PJ Fan meetup on the water for The Rocks Off Boat Cruise aboard the Temptress(http://www.rocksoffnyc.com/boatcruise/) (TIX)

Hoping to see all of our friends from BB Kings out on the water ! We will be performing a full night  3 hour show and as always we will be fielding e-mail requests to pull together a great set list.

Details :

Departure : 8PM

Boarding : 7PM

This 3 Hour cruise will depart from 41st and West Side Drive 
 
The TEMPTRESS leaves from the World Yacht Marina at 41st Street & The West Side Highway (Hudson River). It heads south along the Hudson River and sails down to the Statue of Liberty. After giving breathtaking views of Miss Liberty, the boat continues it's trip through the harbor offering unparalleled views on the NYC Skyline during it's 3 hour tour! The Temptress is a 2 level boat, with 2 full bars, 2 outdoor decks (bow and stern) with full range speakers, and restrooms on the lower level. The band plays inside, which offers incredible views from panoramic windows. Smoking is prohibited in the performance space but is allowed on the decks.

Strangely enough we/Wishlist are hosting a fundraiser/convergence the same day, April 28th in Chicago. When I read Ten was doing this cruise the same day, I thought - awesome! How can we tie the two together??

Just got off the phone with Todd/tkacz from Ten.. what we'd like to do is also add the fundraising element to the cruise and that means bringing in merch and some extra additional publicity!

So the plan is to promo the heck out of the Ten Cruise, add the Wishlist element, get a hotel w/a group rate right nearby for anyone who doesn't want to drive around afterwards, web cast both events, get some autographed stuff for auction (we got an Avocado CD signed by the whole band and NAIS CD single signed by Mike for Chi), get raffle items, bring the shirts, posters, wristbands, and get some sweet t-shirts made to promote Ten, who already helped us rock the Pittsburgh CCFA fundraiser

What we would need is a NY volunteer organizer to help Todd and I with a) planning and b) run the Wishlist table/booth on the boat the day of the event

So... any volunteers?



p.s. if we can set up a west coast convergence the same that, that would be freekin phenominal. National PJ Fan Day!
